Welcome to KampuzHub ("we", "us", "our"), a premier campus peer-to-peer marketplace and service platform operated by Gammabetic Solution Limited (RC: 9494854). We are committed to protecting the privacy of university students and campus affiliates who use our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, verify, process, and share your personal information. By registering for or using KampuzHub, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Gammabetic Solution Limited (RC: 9494854) processes collected information for purposes necessary to run KampuzHub, including:

• Verification & Trust: Running BVN/NIN matches to grant verified seller status, errand creation, and runner applications.
• Escrow Protection: Holding and releasing payments securely based on delivery updates.
• Delivery Orchestration: Dispatching student runners and providing 6-stage errand tracking progress.
• Gamification & Rankings: Managing points, achievements, and leaderboard statistics.
• Platform Communication: Sending transactional alerts, safety reminders, and push notifications.

4How Information is Shared

KampuzHub operates a peer-to-peer network. Some details are shared to enable normal operations:

• Transactional Partners: When you buy a product or hire a runner, your rating, campus username, and delivery location are visible to the other student.
• Escrow Handover: Your phone number may be shared with your matched runner/seller to coordinate physical handovers at a Public Safe Spot.
• Regulatory Agencies: We may share verified KYC documents with compliance agencies or legal authorities if required under Nigerian financial guidelines.

Optional AI features and third-party processing

Kampuz AI helps with product search, image search, listing and buy-request drafts, optional voice transcription, and seller insights. Before using these features, you choose whether to share content with the AI provider identified in the permission screen. We support Groq and Google Gemini through our backend; the screen identifies the configured recipient before sharing. A change of provider requires a new permission decision.

AI requests can include prompts, recent AI conversation, selected photos, optional voice recordings, listing or request fields and seller sales and engagement totals. After a seller opts in, their product photos and listing details may also be processed in the background to improve marketplace search. Structured seller AI context omits account names, account IDs, bank details and government identifiers. Do not put passwords, bank information, NIN/BVN numbers, private contact details or other sensitive information into prompts, images or recordings.

You may decline and keep browsing, creating listings manually and using ordinary marketplace functions. Review or turn off AI sharing under Settings > Kampuz AI privacy. Turning it off stops future AI requests and removes your seller AI index; it cannot recall information a provider has already processed. Google Gemini features require adult eligibility and a configured paid service for private data processing.

Service providers and AI data retention

Cloudinary stores uploaded listing, profile, chat and AI media. AI providers process relevant content to return the requested result. Payment and identity-verification providers, including SafeHaven and QoreID where configured, process the transaction or identity information needed for those functions. Those verification documents are not part of our structured AI context.

AI interpretation results may be cached on our backend for up to five minutes; search sessions expire after fifteen minutes. Uploaded media remains associated with the relevant content until it is removed or a deletion request is processed. Groq may retain inputs and outputs for reliability or abuse monitoring for up to thirty days unless zero data retention is enabled. Google paid-service terms provide that prompts and responses are not used to improve its products, but limited safety, security and legal retention may apply. We do not promise that third-party processing has no retention.

Account deletion, recovery and retained records

Initiate deletion under Profile > Settings > Delete Account. Your account is deactivated and public listings are hidden immediately. You have a thirty-day recovery period; after that, we erase profile and public content and disable account access. Contact [email protected] to request removal of stored media. A minimal account reference may remain so historical financial records do not become inconsistent.

We retain only records necessary for outstanding payments, transaction reconciliation, disputes, fraud prevention and applicable legal obligations, with restricted access. Settle active orders and withdraw an available wallet balance before deletion. Contact [email protected] about the retention that applies to a particular record.

Deleting KampuzHub does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel it in your App Store subscription settings. You can request account deletion independently of the Apple subscription end date.

5Data Protection & Security

Security is our highest priority at Gammabetic Solution Limited (RC: 9494854). We implement physical, administrative, and technical safeguards designed to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.

Sensitive items such as NIN and BVN numbers are strictly encrypted during transmission and processed directly via secure API gateways. Under no circumstances does Gammabetic Solution Limited (RC: 9494854) store unencrypted copies of governmental identity numbers on plaintext databases.

6Your Data Rights

As a user, you have the right to access your personal data, request corrections of incorrect information (e.g. updating phone number or store names), and request account deletion. Limited transaction and dispute records may be retained where needed for reconciliation, security or legal obligations, as described above.
